RADR Stroke Pattern Reference

Compare OSSM patterns available through RADR, their motion behaviour, firmware dependence, and safe starting method.

RADR provides access to the OSSM's built-in stroke patterns. Patterns are loaded directly from your OSSM when you connect, so the available patterns depend on your OSSM firmware version.

Change patterns at zero speed

Return speed to zero before selecting a different pattern. Confirm the highlighted name and begin again at low speed; pattern names and behaviour can change with the connected OSSM firmware.

Accessing Patterns

To access Pattern Mode:

  1. Connect to your OSSM
  2. From the control screen, press the right button (Patterns)
  3. Use the right encoder to scroll through available patterns
  4. Press the right button to select a pattern
  5. Press the left button to cancel without changing

Patterns are loaded from your OSSM when you connect. The pattern list may vary depending on your OSSM firmware version.

Controls in Pattern Mode

ControlAction
Right EncoderScroll through patterns
Left EncoderAdjust speed (still works)
Right ButtonSelect the highlighted pattern
Left ButtonCancel and return to control screen
Middle ButtonPause and return to control screen

The speed control (left encoder) continues to work while in Pattern Mode, allowing you to adjust intensity while browsing patterns.

Available Patterns

RADR displays all patterns available on your connected OSSM. Pattern behavior depends on your OSSM firmware version, and the on-screen description explains how the sensation parameter affects each pattern.

This page summarizes how to access and use patterns such as Simple Stroke, Teasing or Pounding, Robo Stroke, Half'n'Half, Deeper, Stop'n'Go, Insist, and more.

Pattern family shown by RADRGeneral motion characteristicWhat to verify before increasing speed
Simple StrokeRegular back-and-forth strokeStroke range and depth match the display
Teasing / PoundingMotion character changes with the sensation controlThe low setting behaves as expected before trying a stronger setting
Robo StrokeMechanically regular variationTransitions do not exceed the intended range
Half'n'HalfAlternates between two motion sectionsBoth sections remain within the selected range
DeeperBiases motion toward the deeper end of the selected rangeThe deepest point remains clear and comfortable
Stop'n'GoIncludes intentional pausesA programmed pause is not mistaken for a disconnected controller
InsistRepeats or emphasizes part of the strokeRepetition remains within the intended position and range

These are orientation descriptions, not fixed motion specifications. The connected OSSM supplies the authoritative pattern implementation. If its on-screen behaviour differs from this table, stop, note both firmware versions, and contact support.

Tips

Patterns work in combination with your speed setting. A pattern at 20% speed feels very different from the same pattern at 80% speed. Experiment with different combinations.

Start with Simple Stroke to get comfortable with the controls, then experiment with other patterns.

New patterns may be added through OSSM firmware updates. Check for firmware updates to access the latest pattern libraries.
